 HOW THE GREAT COLOMBIA WAS CREATED?

Gran Colombia began in 1819, this arose after the independence of Venezuela from the kingdom of Spain, the boyaca battle, Llorente vase and the congress of Angostura, was installed and created by Simon Bolivar, because he had the dream of making latin america only one country, as a political strategy of the countries. Was the first step for the total unification of the peoples devised by Francisco de Miranda. Right now, the actual territories that compose the Great Colombia are Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador and Panama.

The great colombia ended due to the political differences that existed in the political aptitudes and the countries wanted to be independient, so the countries was divided.

HOW WAS THE LIBERATING CAMPAING?

They become to be independent by the liberating campaign, liberated by Simon Bolivar and Fransisco de Paula Santander, where many people also fight and join to this cause, and many important characters of the Great Colombian history was involucrated, many people die in the differents battles that made part of the process of the independence. 

The independence was given by the political differences that existed between the supporters of federalism and centralism, and the excessive power of the Spanish.
